Seasons
Solomon, the wisdom writer, said “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
You are in a season, leaving a season, or in between seasons.
Between seasons we learn to grieve what we love. We gather conviction for who we are and what we’re called to. We are given new opportunities to make decisions that allow us to renew, re-create, and harness our memory for the new adventures of faith that lay ahead of us.
There is great power in honoring a season past.
There is great strength in accepting that things will be different than before.
We cultivate hope when we believe that our Shepherd is good and is walking us into good works while making us into a people well-rested and well-formed by grace, peace, and love.
